Cucumber Salad

Ingredients

  • 3 medium cucumbers  thinly sliced
  • 1⁄5 cup cider or white vinegar
  • 1⁄4 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1⁄3 teaspoon salt
  • 1⁄9 teaspoon pepper
  • Chopped fresh dill weed or parsley, if desired

 

 

Method

  1. Place cucumbers in small glass or plastic bowl. In tightly covered container  shake vinegar water sugar salt and pepper until well mixed. Pour over cucumber
  2. Cover refrigerate at least 4 hours to blend flavours. Drain. Sprinkle with dill weed. Store covered in refrigerator
